Royston First Business Awards 2024

What an incredible evening we had last night at the inaugural Royston First BID Business Awards 2024, hosted at the stunning Burloes Hall – one of our favourite venues! The room was buzzing with excitement from the beginning, thanks to the brilliant JezO, a multi-award-winning magician and member of the Magic Circle, who wowed everyone with an impressive trick right from the start.

There was even dancing before the awards began, adding to the atmosphere!

After a warm welcome from David Smyth, Chair of Royston First BID and an inspiring talk from Dragon Den’s contender and keynote speaker, Claire Brumby, guests tucked into a delicious three-course meal by the venue’s recommended, Host Catering.

Royston’s very own Cambridge Wine provided the complimentary vino, while Barbara’s Flowers made sure the tables looked glamorous, and Face Paint Create added sparkle to the crowd with glittering designs.

Local singer and trumpet player, Tom Huttlestone provided unforgettable entertainment throughout the evening and photographer, Gareth Jones captured the special moments.

Sharon Grocott, Managing Director at C4B Media, said:

“We’re very happy with the success of the Royston First BID Business Awards. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the incredible achievements of Royston’s local businesses, some of whom are our clients. As the Main Event Sponsor, we’re so proud to have played a part in bringing the community together to recognise such hard work and dedication. Royston is full of talent and passion and it’s an honour to support this vibrant business community. We would like to say a big thank you to Royston First BID, especially BID Manager, Paul Brown, for making it all happen and a huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists!”.

C4B Media were proud to provide the event design, including the event logo, roller banners, table talkers, table numbers, signage boards and place names, as well as the website landing page and branded social media JPGs, ensuring a cohesive and professional look for the evening.
