C4B Media Proud to Support GOSH Summer Ball, Raising Over £12,200 for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Royston, Hertfordshire – 5th July 2025

As a proud partner of the GOSH Summer Ball 2025, we at C4B Media are thrilled to celebrate the overwhelming success of this year’s event, which raised a fantastic £12,200 in one unforgettable evening for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Hosted in the beautiful surroundings of Burloes Hall in Royston, the ball brought together our friends, families, as well as businesses and local supporters for an emotional and joy-filled night of generosity and community spirit. The total raised on the night brings Team Cerys D’s fundraising efforts over the last 16 years to an incredible £65,137.77 in support of GOSH’s life-saving work.

As well as being an event sponsor, C4B Media was honoured to provide the full creative direction for the Summer Ball, delivering everything from the event branding to printed materials, social media content, and on-the-night visuals. Helping bring the event to life through powerful design was a deeply personal project for our team.

16-year-old Cerys Durkin, whose story inspired the founding of Team Cerys D, is the daughter and niece of two of C4B Media’s directors. Another director also has a daughter currently under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital – making this cause one that truly lives at the heart of our business.

“The GOSH Summer Ball 2025 was the perfect finale to 16 years of dedicated fundraising for a hospital that’s so close to our hearts,” said Cerys. “We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown by everyone who supported the event – thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

As Cerys now looks ahead, so does Team Cerys D. With this event marking the close of an inspiring chapter, the team’s fundraising efforts will now turn towards supporting Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT). The charity plays a key role in the development of the pioneering Cambridge Children’s Hospital and Cancer Hospital, alongside other essential services across the region.

Cerys herself is helping shape this future in a new way – by serving on the Cambridge Children’s Hospital Youth Forum, advocating for a more holistic, patient-centred approach to children’s healthcare.

“We’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved for GOSH and honoured to play a part in that journey,” said Sharon Grocott, the Managing Director at C4B Media. “Supporting Cerys and Team Cerys D, both personally and professionally, has meant the world to us. We’re excited to help champion the next chapter in children’s health through our continued support of ACT.”

From all of us at C4B Media—thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored or supported the ball in any way. Your kindness is helping to bring hope and healing to children and families who need it most.
