Bennett School of Public Policy

The Challenge

Following our work with the Bennett Institute for Public Policy, we were asked to create a new identity and digital presence for the Bennett School of Public Policy.

The challenge was to establish the School as a distinct organisation while maintaining clear links to the existing Bennett brand and adhering to University of Cambridge guidelines.

The new website also needed to support a diverse audience, including:

• Prospective students
• Researchers and academics
• Policymakers
• Partners and stakeholders

The Solution

We evolved the existing Bennett visual identity to create a cohesive family of brands.

Our work included:

• Designing a new logo and brand identity
• Developing an updated colour palette
• Creating a new School graphic inspired by the Institute’s ring pattern
• Producing comprehensive brand guidelines
• Refreshing the existing website with the new School branding
• Creating launch assets for social media, events, publications and e-newsletters

The result was a unified brand experience across every touchpoint.

The Outcome

The Bennett School launched with a distinctive new identity and a digital platform designed to support its teaching, research and policy engagement activities.

Outcomes included:

• Referrals and new opportunities across other University departments
• A seamless transition to a dedicated School platform
• A strong launch platform for the new Digital Policy MPhil
• Consistent branding across digital, print and event communications
• Continued collaboration across strategy, design and marketing
