The brief

C4B Media were asked to design, produce, print manage and deliver two versions of a brochure (one for the UK market, and one for use throughout Asia) explaining their Darwin™ benefits management and employee engagement software to coincide with the most significant upgrade to their software in ten years.

Challenge

Thomsons Online Benefits needed a sleek, modern brochure for their sales team to take their software to market and reflect the recent development work done to make the Darwin™ software more intuitive, user friendly and visually compelling. The brochures needed to be delivered to a strict launch deadline.

Solution

C4B Media’s objective for the project was to produce a document that would have the wow factor as it landed on the desk of an HR professional, and provide an attractive and compelling sales tool before, during and after sales pitches.

This was achieved by creating a brochure that looked and handled like a tablet. On opening the brochure, the prospect is guided through the software via a clever navigation of app icons, and presented all the key features of the software with translucent pages to provide “pop-up” explanations sitting over example screenshots.

The print job was complex & challenging with minimum pages for a PUR bound finish, including the document being RAM cut to size. The translucent pages were digitally printed so we could print in colour and also deliver the brochure with 5 days of sign off.

The project included design conception, project management, artwork and print handling.
